Mulberries Are Rich In Resveratrol

In China, the mulberries and leaves have been used for medicine and food for thousands of years. Mulberries are rich in resveratrol, which have many health benefits.  It is also anti aging.Consumption of mulberries fresh or as a tea reduces stress, fights cholesterol, protects against cancer, neurological diseases and strokes.  As a natural detoxifier, mulberry tea flushes out the toxins from the body, cleaning the liver and kidneys. Also good for the brain, diabetics and strengthens the immune system. Dried mulberries are rich in protein, vitamin C, K and iron. They contain a high level of potassium, and magnesium.
















This tea is a promising cure for eye disorders such as cataract, and retinal degeneration. 
It is also known to have rejuvenating effects on the skin.

















Preparing the Leaves for Use

After picking the leaves, rinse them well.
Then let sun dry for two or three days.
Crush the leaves lightly when they are dry.

To Make Mulberry Tea

Two tablespoons of dried leaves in a teapot
Add two cups of boiling water
Steep for ten minutes.
Remove the leaves with a tea strainer
Add honey to sweeten.
