Health and Vitality In Elderly and Centenarians


Here are more elderly and centenarians that will amaze you, with their health and vitality.

Fauja Singh
Fauja Singh is a British Sikh centenarian marathon runner of Punjabi Indian descent. He turned vegetarian 30 years ago.
He is a world record holder. At 101 he runs the Mumbai marathon. He ran the London marathon in 7 hrs and 49 minutes. He was born in 1911 and stays with his son. He ran his first marathon at the age of 89. He has completed eight other marathons.

Harriette Thompson
She is a cancer survivor, and the oldest women to complete or finish the San Diego Marathon. She did this on May 31, 2015 in 7 hrs 24 minutes 36 seconds. The San Diego Marathon is a 26.2 mile race.

Edith Murphy (Canada)
On the 11 August 2004 at the age of 90, she water skied at Lake Vernon, Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. She skies regularly during the summer months.

Dr Frank Schearer
At 101 he is the world’s oldest water skier. Dr Frank is from Zillah.

Marie Hunt
This 103 Wisconsin resident who had to cease her education after the eighth grade, managed to get her high school diploma at this advanced age.

In fact, once I started researching this topic.  I found that there are many, many more elderly that have retained their healthand vigor at an advanced age.
