Strawberry and Kiwi Salad

Research has shown that resveratrol may have longevity benefits as well as health benefits




















Strawberries

They are a good source of vitamin C and folic acid, as well as potassium, which supports a healthy heart.  A high intake of potassium reduces the risk of a stroke. The potassium, vitamin K and magnesium in strawberries also promote bone health. Strawberries contain antioxidants that fight free radicals, which have been linked to degenerative diseases such as cancer. These berries also have anti-aging properties and biotin, which help in building strong hair and nails. Ellagic acid in strawberries, protect the elasticity of our skin.
Antioxidants prevent the build-up of cholesterol, which can clog your arteries.  Anti-inflammation properties are good for the heart, and arthritis.

Strawberry and Kiwi Salad
2 oranges, peeled and sliced across the sections
2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 large kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
1 small banana, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoon raisins
On small platter make a bed of orange wheels.
In a large bowl, combine strawberries, kiwi fruit, and bananas. Add raisins.
Mix gently and place on oranges. Make Fruit Dip and pour it over salad.

Fruit Dip
Puree in blender or food processor.
1 banana and a cup of strawberries
Serve on fruit salad.

Strawberry Shake
1 cup fresh milk
2 frozen bananas
6 fresh or frozen strawberries.
Place milk and fruit in blender. Blend until thick and creamy.
